About Drayton Archaeology

Guiding clients through the compliance process to move their projects forward

We are a team of archaeology, built environment, and cultural resource management professionals, and a Federally Certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, that treats every project, large or small, with our full attention.

Our Mission

Without guided and timely professional CRM service, most business and personal projects get delayed, overly complicated, or become over budget – causing unnecessary frustration and worry; costing money to all involved. Projects that otherwise are ‘doable,’ are sometimes abandoned.

We provide approachable, honest, project-focused CRM solutions that guide our clients through the compliance process in a timely manner so everyone feels supported, educated, and has the information they need to move forward with their projects in a practical way.

“My first choice for cultural resource support.”

– Municipal Land Planner, PSE

Our Story

After years of working as a professional archaeologist for both private and federal agencies, Garth Baldwin noticed a need and an opportunity to better serve clients. In addition to quality work, the industry needed someone who would guide clients through the complexities of the compliance process in an approachable way and prioritize the needs of their projects.

With that in mind, Drayton Archaeology was born in 2001 and since that time it has served 1000s of professionals, businesses, and people from across industries and locations.

Today, Drayton provides a full suite of services in archaeology, built environment, and cultural resource management and serves clients across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and northern California.

Let’s get started helping you with your project.
