
Jeff graduated from Western Washington University in 2017 with a B.A. in Anthropology and began his career as an archaeologist with Drayton in 2018. While working toward his undergraduate degree, he completed an internship at the Whatcom Museum of History and Art in Bellingham, focusing on exhibitions and preservation. He also completed two field schools in Bulgaria where he worked alongside students and professionals on the excavation and conservation of an ancient Greek colony’s sacred district. As a professional archaeologist, Jeff has worked on a variety of project types in both field and laboratory settings including survey, monitoring, data recovery excavation, as well as faunal and artifact cataloging and analysis. In his free time, Jeff enjoys hiking, camping, and kayaking.
